  1. Be patient and wait for the download to finish. Then click the downloaded app to install.

  1. A pop-up window confirming installation will appear. Click Yes to Install.

  1. Choose “Default” as the installation type. Then click Install.

  1. Wait for the Screaming Frog SEO Spider Setup Installation to finish, then click Close.

  1. Double-click the Screaming Frog SEO Spider App.

  1. Read the End User License Agreement (EULA) and click Accept.

  1. Congratulations! You have successfully installed Screaming Frog SEO Spider.

  1. Crawl your Shopify website by entering your website’s URL in the search bar and clicking on Start to start crawling your website.

  1. To view the broken links, click on the Response Code at the top navigation once the crawling has finished, then from the filter select Client Error (4xx).

  1. Determine which pages on your website contain broken links. Click on the URL in the list and then tap Inlinks in the bottom navigation.

  1. Log in to your Shopify Account. Click on Navigation and then Click on View URL Redirects.

  1. Click on create URL redirect.

  1. Enter the broken link from screaming frog, as well as the new URL that will fix the broken link. Click the Save Redirect button.
